Article 1: Purpose and scope

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTC) govern purchases made on www.la-jonx.ch, operated by La Jonx Suisse Sàrl, Rue des Rois 17, 1204 Geneva (hereinafter “La Jonx”).

By placing an order, the buyer (hereinafter the “Customer”) acknowledges having read and accepted these GTC.

Article 2: Prices

All prices are stated in Swiss francs (CHF), including taxes, unless otherwise indicated.

Any shipping costs are shown separately before the order is confirmed.

La Jonx reserves the right to change its prices at any time. The price applicable to an order is the price displayed when the Customer confirms the order.

Article 3: Orders

Orders are placed through www.la-jonx.ch.

An order confirmation is sent by email after the order has been confirmed.

La Jonx reserves the right to refuse or cancel an order for legitimate reasons, including product unavailability, manifestly incorrect information, impossibility of delivery or suspected fraud.

In such cases, the Customer will be informed and any amounts already collected for the products concerned will be refunded.

Article 4: Payment

Payment is made using the payment methods offered during checkout on the website.

Depending on the options available at the time of ordering, these may include payment by bank card, PayPal, TWINT or other payment methods offered by La Jonx.

Electronic transactions are processed by the payment providers offered on the website.

The terms and timing of the debit may vary depending on the payment method used.

Article 5: Shipping and delivery times

Orders are generally prepared and shipped via Swiss Post within 2 to 3 business days following order confirmation.

For an urgent order, particularly for a birthday or event, the Customer may contact La Jonx at [email protected]. La Jonx will do its best to expedite shipment but cannot guarantee a specific delivery time.

Some products require additional lead times:

• 70 × 100 cm posters printed on demand: approximately 7 additional business days;
• products temporarily out of stock: approximately 7 to 10 business days;
• international deliveries: delivery times depend in particular on the destination country and carrier.

Preparation and delivery times communicated are indicative.

La Jonx cannot be held liable for delays attributable to the carrier or circumstances beyond its control, including postal disruptions, adverse weather, customs formalities or force majeure.

Article 6: Shipping costs

Applicable shipping costs are shown to the Customer before the order is confirmed.

As an indication, the rates may be as follows:

Switzerland: CHF 7; free delivery for purchases of CHF 80 or more.

Europe: CHF 15.

Rest of the world: CHF 15.

The rates displayed during checkout prevail.

Where delivery cannot be completed because of an incorrect or incomplete address provided by the Customer, or where the parcel is returned to La Jonx after being made available to the recipient, the costs of reshipment are borne by the Customer, including the postal return costs (total reshipment charge: CHF 14.–).

For deliveries outside Switzerland, customs duties, import taxes or other charges imposed by the authorities of the destination country may apply. These costs are borne by the recipient.

Article 7: Returns

La Jonx allows the Customer to return products purchased on the website within 15 days of delivery, subject to the exclusions below.

Before any return, the Customer must contact La Jonx at [email protected] and identify the relevant order.

The product must be returned in a condition suitable for resale, unless the return is due to a defect or damage occurring before receipt by the Customer.

If a product is received damaged, the Customer is invited to send photographs of the product and its packaging.

A refund or, where agreed, replacement is made after receipt and inspection of the returned product.

Unless otherwise agreed or the product is defective, return shipping costs are borne by the Customer.

Exception: 70 × 100 cm posters are printed on demand and cannot be returned for reasons of personal preference. This exclusion does not limit the Customer’s rights in the event of a defective, damaged or incorrect product.

Article 8: Undelivered or lost parcels

In the event of a significant delay or non-delivery, the Customer is invited to contact La Jonx so that an investigation can be initiated with the carrier.

The tracking number or shipping receipt constitutes proof that the shipment was handed over to the carrier.

If an order ultimately cannot be delivered or is considered lost, La Jonx will review with the Customer the possibility of reshipment or a refund, depending on the circumstances and the outcome of the carrier investigation. Where an incorrect delivery address was provided when placing the order, La Jonx cannot be held responsible for non-delivery. Reshipment will then be at the Customer’s expense.

Article 9: Product availability

Products are offered subject to availability.

If a product becomes unavailable after an order has been confirmed, La Jonx will inform the Customer as soon as possible.

If the product cannot be supplied, the relevant part of the order will be cancelled and any amounts already collected will be refunded.

Article 10: Posters, works and intellectual property

The purchase of a poster or other product reproducing a La Jonx creation concerns the physical copy purchased and does not transfer any copyright attached to the work.

The purchaser of a La Jonx poster may freely display the purchased physical copy in a private space or in a place accessible to the public or used professionally, including an office, shop, restaurant, hotel or similar establishment.

This permission to display does not grant any right to reproduce, digitise, print, modify, distribute or separately exploit the work or its digital file.

Detailed rules governing the use of La Jonx creations and content are set out in the General Terms of Use (GTU) available on the website.

Article 11: Personal data

Information concerning the processing of personal data is available in the Legal Notice published on www.la-jonx.ch.

Article 12: Applicable law and disputes

These GTC are governed by Swiss law.

Subject to mandatory jurisdictions provided by applicable law, the competent courts are those of the Canton of Geneva.

In the event of a dispute, the Customer is invited to contact La Jonx first at [email protected] to seek an amicable solution.

Article 13: Amendments to the GTC

La Jonx reserves the right to amend these GTC.

The GTC applicable to an order are those in force when the Customer confirms the order.

New versions are published on the website with their effective date.
